Noam Chomsky: Pierhead Session Confirmed

Noam Chomsky (450)The Pierhead Sessions are proud to welcome the renowned linguist, scholar and political analyst Noam Chomsky during a rare visit to Europe as he meets his audience at an intimate question and answer session to discuss the big issues of the day.

"The Pierhead Sessions which were established in 2010 were always intended to bring together the sharpest minds to focus on issues that affect Wales and the world. Professor Noam Chomsky, a world-renowned linguist, scholar and political analyst, is one of the most influential intellectuals of our age and we are delighted that he is able to visit the Pierhead," said Dafydd Elis-Thomas AC/AM Presiding Officer.

The Pierhead Session with Noam Chomsky will take place on Friday 11 March 2011 at 5.30pm. The Pierhead Session with Noam Chomsky takes place in the Pierhead Building which is located opposite the Senedd building in Cardiff Bay. The iconic building is one of the most recognisable landmarks in Wales and is seen nightly as a backdrop to many news bulletins.
